Hours & Rules of the Apple Orchard
Open weekends starting 9/1 through 10/28.
General Farm Hours: 9am-6pm
Corn Maze Hours: 10am – 5:30pm
Also open on the following weekdays:
- Monday, 9/3 (Labor Day)
- Monday, 9/10 and Tuesday, 9/11 (Rosh Hashanah)
- Wednesday, 9/19 (Yom Kippur)
- Monday, 10/8 (Columbus Day)
SPOOKY MAZE (Nighttime):
- Open Friday and Saturday nights starting 10/5 through 10/27
- Special Opening Columbus Day Weekend Sunday Night 10/7
- Spooky Maze Hours: 7pm-10pm (last admission 9:30)

Description |
Ultima Gala | A great choice for snacking, Gala is a variety developed in New Zealand. It has a mild flavor that “picky eaters” prefer, plus a striking bright yellow-red color that also makes it visually appealing. |
Zestar | An early season apple that’s juicy, with a light and crisp texture. |
Sansa | Sansa is sweet with some acidity. Resembles a Gala flavor. |
Blondee | A superior early yellow apple that is sweet and crunchy. |
Gale Gala | A great choice for snacking, Gala is a variety developed in New Zealand. It’s got the mild flavor that “picky eaters” prefer, plus a striking bright yellow-red color that also makes it visually appealing. |
Rubymac | Rubymac is a red apple that has balanced flavors with some pleasing tartness. |

Honeycrisp | Complex, sweet-tart flavor, Honeycrisp are excellent for eating and salads and good for sauces, baking, and pies. The apple is juicy and super-crisp with yellow flesh. |
Daybreak Fuji | Fuji apples have it all – they’re super sweet, wildly juicy, extremely crisp, and ideal for snacking. |
Crimson Crisp | Extremely crisp. Very good, rich flavor that is sweet, sharp and spicy. |
Late September | |
Golden Delicious | Mild with a sweet flavor, Golden Delicious are juicy and crisp with a light yellow flesh. They are excellent for eating, salads, and sauces and good for pies, baking, and freezing. |
Crown Empire | Born of Red Delicious and McIntosh parents, this apple is superior to both parents in flavor and storability. The creamy white flesh is crisp & juicy; sweeter than it is tart. Excellent for fresh eating, cooking & cider. |
Snapdragon | A new New York apple characterized by “monster crunch.” One of its parents is the Honeycrisp, and you’ll love the spicy/sweet flavor. |

Jonagold De Coster | It’s a cross between mellow Golden Delicious and tart Jonathan apples, and creates a great aroma when baked in apple pies. |
Shizuka | Yellow with red-orange blush. Sweeter with less acid than Mutsu and excellent flavor. |
Autumn Gala | The fruit color is orange-red and overall quality is similar to that of traditional Gala. |
Cameo | A bright, red-striped apple with a creamy orange color; firm and crisp. It has a thin skin with a sweet/tart flavor, and makes a great fresh eating apple. |
Keepsake | Keepsake is a hard, very crisp apple with juicy light yellow flesh. Strongly aromatic flavor. |
Red Jonaprince | Jonaprince has the large size and excellent flavor of its parent, Jonagold Prince. Very popular with good flavor. |
Crimson Topaz | Crimson Topaz has a thin flesh with a crisp, juicy interior. Just as the name implies, it is a deep shade of crimson. This apple is also balanced with tart and sweet flavors. |

Suncrisp | This apple’s color gives it a sunset-worthy appearance. The fruit is sweet, rich and mildly aromatic. |
Albermarle Pippin | This old time or “antique” apple variety was an important commercial variety in the early 1900s. The fruit is greenish-yellow, medium to large with excellent fruit quality. |
Red Cameo | Crisp, juicy, sweet-tart flavor, Red Cameo is good for eating or baking. |
